Listing Agreement The following will serve as the listing agreement between the JLBooks.com ("the company") and the author, publisher or agent ("the client") of the book to be displayed by the company. In making an addition, the client guarantees the originality of the book and the truthfulness of any information provided as part of the addition process. Payment must be received, by check, money order, or credit card before any submissions will be displayed by the company. The client will pay an up front fee of $30.00 per book. Listing with the company is for marketing purposes only. General: 1. The company will display the information provided by the client for a minimum of two (2) years, provided the information is authentic, original and truthful. 2. The company will display as accurately as possible the information provided by the client. 3. The company makes no guarantee of book sales. 4. The client is limited in the volume of its submission to less than 450 words. 5. The client will, within reason, update the company on any changes in the information presented on the client's display. 6. The company retains the absolute right to refuse any addition it deems inappropriate. Additionally, the company retains editorial control over all displays. Credit Card Sales 1. The following applies to books that are sold using the merchant account of the company. 2. The company will notify the client upon an order of the client's books from the clients display with the company. 3. Upon notification, the client will be responsible for the delivery of the book to the purchaser within a period of ten (10) business days. 4. Payment will not be made to the client until two weeks after the client notifies the company that the book has been sent to the purchaser. 5. During the first two weeks, beginning the day the book leaves the client for the purchaser, the client is obligated to honor any return of that book. 6. The company will pay the client the full amount paid by the purchaser, less a 10% administrative fee. 7. The client is required to notify the company of any depletion in inventory.
